About Kiara DiMari

Born October 7th, several years ago, Kiara spent her childhood in the small town of North Branch in Michigan. From her sixth grade year in school, Kiara knew she wanted to write, or sing as her passion for both was high. It was her eighth-grade English teacher who encouraged her and even helped her publish some poetry for the first time in her early career. Following a desire for a career in the arts, Kiara studied dramatic theatre as well as journalism during her last years of High school into her first year of college. When college didn't exactly work for her, Kiara returned home and went back to work. She married and began a whole new life.

During her 9 year marriage which gifted her two daughters, she found her way back to her passion for writing and came back to her old stories, reworking and recreating the characters and plots. In May of 2007, she bravely released her first copy of Spellbound: Dawn of Destiny under her legal name. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Kiara's marriage dissolved and the plans for her second novel were destroyed before she could get it finished and released.
A new life brought a new husband and a third daughter. Kiara also found herself with a renewed desire to write again. With all her notes destroyed from her first and second novels, she chose to celebrate her new and happier life with a new spin on her stories. Deciding to go more in-depth on her plot and a chance to explain things that never were fully explained before, Kiara decided to take the Kiara DiMari pen name and give her readers a story they would not soon forget.

Kiara listens to all types of music and is considered very open-minded to many things. She is a practicing Solitary Wiccan, working with crystals and herbs and candles as well as tarot and dream interpretations. She watches anime (will always be a fan of the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! series - and that includes art involving it), and has always been a Puzzleshipping fan.

Kiara dabbles in many writing forms from short-stories/one-shots, poetry, and fan fiction. Her stories/novels are typical of a Young Adult to Mature adult rating style and her poetry is almost always free-form.

As a TikTok creator, Kiara spans from some cos-play, to singing covers of favorite songs, dueting fellow creators, and offering positive words of encouragement for a day. She is also an advocate for Domestic Abuse Awareness.
