Jessi Segaard was born in Ohio along the shores of Lake Erie in 1986.

Eleven years later, she began writing and drawing comics and hasn't

been doing much else since. Her art style draws from a number of influences, most notably anime, manga, and Filmation house animation style. She loves drawing fantastical characters and settings and has been honored and excited to be the cover artist for the Eudorian Chronicles novel series. Many sketches and designs of hers for the series are used here with her permission. 

 

When Jessi isn't drawing or writing, she likes to watch or read fantasy and sci-fi, collecting cool hats and toys of giant alien robots, and learning cool stuff about history, mythology, and weird animals. She is also a fan of cool cover art in general and is not sure how she feels about this current trend of sticking photographs of

apples or ties on your book and calling it a day. 

 

Jessi has three original webcomics, The Law of Purple and Alien Revenant, Morbid: A Horror Comic Anthology, a fanfiction webcomic Yukai no Yugi, and a DeviantArt profile. She lives with her brother and a ton of cats.
